Prepare to be Pampered...join us at The Berry Hill Resort in South Boston, Virginia as Spring arrives! This retreat is unique as it includes both Cross Stitchers & Quilters.
Retreat features Spacious stitching & sewing space, great sleeping rooms, delicious catered meals and lots of natural lighting, all on a 700 acre historic property. Stitchers will receive primary project Pre-Stitch Kit sent early & the Finishing Kit for Saturday, included in your retreat fee!
A fun weekend is in store with our workshop schedule which allows you to do them all and finish the projects! Check out the daily itinerary for more information. Cross Stitch workshops located in separate room, so quilters and sewists can work on their projects!
The Celebrate Spring Retreat includes all workshop fees with internationally known Cherry Guidry of Cherry Blossoms Studio.

This retreat is your perfect chance to discover new tips and techniques for sewing, with live demos, workshops with Mariana and hands-on guidance throughout the weekend. Whether you're a seasoned sewist or just starting out, join us for a weekend of stitching, learning, and sweet treats in the heart of Virginia's countryside.
This retreat is designed for you learn from our featured designer in addition to working on your own projects. With plenty of time to work on projects in a relaxing and creative atmosphere, this retreat offers the perfect balance of learning, crafting, and fun! Come join us and enjoy our chocolate treats.

Join us for a wonderful weekend with Giuseppe Ribaudo AKA Giucy Giuce and Alison Glass. It's kickoff time for their latest joint Sew Along and we benefit! Pattern and supplies included for a fun project you'll work on during Saturday's workshop. Sneak peeks closer to the retreat!
Our November Retreat is traditionally the introduction of our Holiday Gifts-A-Making Box, a box filled with 9+ patterns, fabrics and all supplies to make a selection of holiday gifts. We'll have technique demos for the box projects. More details later on our 6th annual box.
PLUS Patti Bender will be holding a Tamarack Jacket Workshop BEFORE the retreat, starting Wednesday noon. A Zoom session will be held prior to the retreat for help with sizing and fabric selection. No prior garment sewing experience needed.
As of January 1, this retreat is on waitlist. 12 names from the waitlist will be invited on Jan 6th, the 12th day of Christmas. Additional names will be invited as life happens and attendees are unable to attend. Please let us know in the notes to us if you are able to fill a spot at the last minute.

Great Sewing Space

- Spacious individual tables with plenty of room to spread out and leave your projects set up overnight

- Stitch, sew and socialize from Friday morning through Sunday afternoon
- Keep sewing into the evening—the room stays open as long as at least two people are present
- Arrive early on Thursday at 1 pm for an additional $70, including dinner

- Share your finished projects during our Show & Tell

We take health & safety seriously. Please reach out to us if you have any questions. We want you to feel comfortable with our efforts to provide a "Sew-cation" AWAY from home!
- All health & safety guidelines are followed at each retreat, not just during flu, COVID & strep seasons.
- Frequent cleaning of high-touch surfaces has always been and will continue to be important to us and our partners.
- Sewists have always been seated 6 feet apart when not traveling together.
- We always have LOTS of space, so there is plenty of elbow room.
- Goodies, treats & gifts are individually wrapped.
- Personal, individual-sized containers are provided for frequently used items.
- We do ask that you be considerate of others and not attend if you are sick.
Life happens! Should you need to cancel a planned retreat due to illness or other unexpected circumstances, we will work with you...
- Think about a friend who could come in your place—we accept transfers!
- Your initial deposit ($100–$150) can be transferred to a future retreat within the next 12 months.
- More than 120 days prior, all monies paid, less the deposit and processing fees, will be transferred to another retreat or refunded to the original payment source.
- 30–120 days prior, uncommitted funds, less the deposit and processing fees, will be transferred to a future retreat or refunded. Some venues require upfront payment for guaranteed meal and space reservations.
- Within 30 days of the retreat, full refunds simply cannot be made. At any time, your payments may be transferred to a new attendee coming in your place.
